Detached and standing in its own grounds, this old house has been recently restored, and the whole property enjoys river frontage. The house faces the main bridge into the village, and there are views up-river to the forests in the distance. To the back there are views of open countryside. It is full of character, traditionally furnished, large and very comfortable. Oil-fired central heating throughout the house, for winter lets. The village square is 1 minute walk. There are trout in the
Barbenan
River.

OUTSIDE |
Entry to the property is through tall wooden gates into the courtyard. The riverside Courtyard is large, walled, secluded, and safe for dogs. It is sunny all day long. Gates from the Courtyard lead into the Garden beside the river. There are trees and shrubs. The garden is grassed and mown but is not a pristine lawn. The river runs beside the garden. It is not safe for unsupervised young children. Although the water is not deep, the banks are steep and the river rocky. Older children would enjoy it very much, there are steps down to the river.
